A lovely Vermont evening at Phoenix Books

Last night’s launch party for Rival’s Break was wonderful, such fun for me as an author. I had the best time chatting with readers (a packed house!) and wandering through Phoenix Books downtown Rutland, Vermont. If you’re in Vermont during our popular leaf-peeping season, I hope you’ll stop at any of the four Phoenix Books locations. Tell them I said hi. 🙂

Celebrating today with Rival’s Break hitting stores! I’m so grateful for the early positive reviews on this latest in my Sharpe and Donovan suspense series featuring Maine-born, Boston-based FBI agents Emma Sharpe and Colin Donovan. The fun starts at 6:30 PM. This is a great independent bookstore located in downtown Rutland, Vermont. There are many wonderful places to stay if you’re visiting the area for a few days.

The latest from my hilltop in Vermont

Only a week ago I was on my way to Rutland, Vermont, for a wonderful signing and talk for Impostor’s Lure at Phoenix Books, a fabulous independent bookstore. I love this store! Rutland is a small city about an hour west of me, with a great downtown. I don’t get there often enough.

The night before, I was in North Reading, Massachusetts, at a historic library for a fun chat another “full house” of readers. As in Billerica on the 21st, everyone in North Reading and Rutland was so welcoming, gracious and generous. And they all asked great questions!
