Early in my writing career, I penned a number of short romance novels, stories with lots of humor, adventures and often a touch of mystery. They went out of print and were never in eBook. Readers who want to read or reread them have had to scour garage sales and such.
No more!
I’m delighted the Mill Brook trilogy is now available in eBook*, with only light editing on my part. Finders Keepers (Book 1) is now on sale, and Within Reason (Book 2) follows on February 4th) and That Stubborn Yankee (Book 3) on February 25th.
All three books are set in Vermont and Tennessee, two places I know well. We live in Vermont (we’d just moved there when I created little Mill Brook, Vermont) and my husband grew up in Tennessee. He and our daughter both graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, one of my favorite cities.
Finders Keepers opens with professional storyteller Holly Paynter sneaking into tiny Mill Brook, Vermont, in search of a pair of Paul Revere silver goblets, a long-missing family heirloom. Only good-looking, hard-headed Julian Stiles, proprietor of Mill Brook Post and Beam, has other ideas…and not just about the goblets.
I’ve posted recipes for two of Joe’s favorites from his Tennessee days. Fried apricot pies and squash casserole…two of my favorites, too.
Happy reading, and Happy 2020! Here’s to a wonderful year to you and yours.
