Back home in Vermont from Ireland

We’re home after almost a month in Ireland. We’re back to weeds in the gardens, fuzzy stuff in the fridge and gorgeous New England fall weather and foliage. We stacked a cord of wood delivered on Saturday and have a visit in the works with my mother. And I had a great chat with my fabulous agent on Monday.
Hard to believe last week we were hiking the Irish hills!
Tomorrow (September 30) is the final day to enter my Sharpe & Donovan 10th Anniversary Giveaway. In addition to signed copies of the entire Sharpe & Donovan series, one lucky winner will receive Irish beeswax candles, Irish notecards and a delicious gift from Maine-based Stonewall Kitchen.
Can’t wait to tell you more about the next up in this series. It takes place the spring after Emma Sharpe and Colin Donovan’s autumn adventures in Rival’s Break. Life has been relatively quiet (for them!) over the winter. It doesn’t stay that way when they find themselves back in Declan’s Cross on the south Irish coast.
Part of the story takes place in the Black Valley in County Kerry. Joe and I did a long hike there two weeks ago. Loved every minute! I’ve included two of the photos we took on our hike. The header photo is from another hike. 🙂
Now it’s back to writing. I hope your fall is off to a wonderful start!
